Caruso Caps off Historic Season with 3rd All Stars Series Victory
Reigning Australian Pro Sprint Champion Mark Caruso created history last weekend at the B&S Earthworks Timmis Speedway, Mildura when he become a 3 time Mainline Dynolog Dynamometers All Stars Series Champion.
The winningest driver in the series picked up 2 A-Main victories en-route to a 3rd series crown beating home MD Motorsport Most Improved Driver Kane Newcombe with Hoosier Tire Australia Rookie of Year Chris Temby in third.

Even after an opening lap flip in the final A-Main of the series Caruso had earnt enough points to take the win by 208 points. Temby meanwhile didn’t compete at the final round due to engine troubles on the V18 but still had enough points for 3rd. With all teams and officials gathered our
annual pit party started off by thanking all our valued Sponsors, Officials and tracks that the series visited.

The awards section started off by presenting a complete Ti Bolt Kit valued at $1600 presented by BK Racing Performance Products. This award was a lucky draw with 7 drivers in contention with Newcombe winning the kit. It wasn’t the only award that Newcombe would win with him also taking
home a complete set of Maxwheels thanks to MD Motorsports for being the most improved driver.

Temby took home a $500 Hoosier Tire Australia gift card for his efforts as the rookie of the year with Boyd Harris receiving the Special Recognition Award and a complete set of Nerf Bars for his efforts throughout the series. Dan Scott received a Front Wing when he won the Altitude Award for his 3
roll overs throughout the series. Long time crew of Caruso Byron Phillips and Chris Chenoweth took home the Crew Chief Of The Year award.
After blowing 4 engines and rebuilding Todd Moule would take home the Herbert’s Custom Cycles Maxie’s Keep On Fighting Award. Moule would only finish 2 A-Mains with those 2 being victories.

The Time-Honoured Drivers Driver Award affectionally known as the Phil Lock Award and Best Presented Award went to Jeremy Kupsch.
The next 2 awards were presented by Series Promoter Mandy Searle. The first award was the H’s Star Award which went to Lisa Moule for her services to the Series. The next award saw 3 members inducted into the Allstars Series Hall of Fame. Chief Stewart Keith Mitchell, Series Commentator Daniel Kirby and hard working Official Michael Karfut all joined an illustrious group of people who have all made the All Stars Series what it is.
